Psychiatry Department
The Department of Psychiatry at The Neuro City Hospital offers a spectrum of services to treat and care patients with most challenging illnesses and various mental disorders. The exceptional depth and breadth of patient services include emergency and urgent care, general and specialty outpatient care, psychological and educational assessment services, dedicated psychiatry services for both medical and surgical for outpatients, de-addiction program. The department's psychiatrist and psychologists are uniquely trained as clinicians, teachers, and some of the field's most accomplished and recognized specialists particularly in Psychopharmacology, cognitive behavioural therapy, and behavioural medicine. We successfully treat the most complex psychiatric cases requiring multidisciplinary treatments. Our experienced psychiatrists also do counselling and have great expertise in treating people with substance abuse and dependence.
Substance Abuse Treatment
We offer special treatments for persons who have developed problems with alcohol, cannabis, opioids (heroin, codeine-containing cough syrups, pain medicines), sedative medications, and inhalants. The psychiatry department has provided successful counselling to a large number of people with emotional and behavioural disorders.
Counselling
Counselling services department is staffed by professionals (Psychiatrist or psychologists) whose approach to counselling is wholesome in addressing social, cognitive, emotional, behavioural and psychological issues. The services are offered to children, youth, adults, couples, and families as individuals or in groups, regardless of race, sex, community or nationality.
